The Wanted get more attention from girls now they are famous.
The ‘All Time Low’ hitmakers find it amusing that so many attractive ladies now want to date them because before they found chart success they weren’t a hit with the opposite sex.
Singer Nathan Sykes said: “I went to an all girls school, they had boys in sixth form – which was superb as you can imagine, there was only about 10 boys .
“We went to do a gig there when we did the schools tour and people who never wanted to speak to me before wanted to talk to me, I was like, ‘Yeah I know your game.’ ”
The 17-year-old star also revealed the group’s fans cover a broad spectrum of ages, though he and his bandmates – Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran and Tom Parker - don’t attract the same admirers.
He added to BANG Showbiz: “I think the mums go for Max, he’s a hit with the older ladies. Sometimes the daughters go towards me and the mums go for Max. I’ll be happy with the daughters!
