The Wanted Interview ♥

Crave On Music's interview with The Wanted:

Hey boys! We’re here at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball, where you are performing for the second night, the only act to do so! How are you doing?
Jay: Oddly more nervous than we were the first night! I think it’s because we know what to expect and last night was such a high for us it will be pretty hard to beat it!

Aw, sure you’ll be fine! Your new single is called ‘Lose My Mind’: what’s it about?
Jay: It”s about when somebody is playing mind games with you and you’re just getting sick of it and you just want to get them out of your head.

Sounds deep! You performed ‘Lose My Mind’ for the first time on TV for the X Factor. What was it like performing on the show?
Tom: It was the most nerve wracking thing in my life!

This is the 3rd single to be taken from your self-titled debut album: will there be another single from your album after this?
Max: No, the plan is to release a brand new single around April! It’s a bit hush hush at the moment though.

Just in time for your tour then! You’ve got your first headlining tour coming up in April - what can people expect?
Tom: We can’t wait for the tour! People are genuinely going to be shocked, we’ve got a few surprises up our sleeves.
Siva: More like, a lot of surprises!
Nathan: We want to make sure that it’s one big party and everyone is invited!

We are coming to the end of what has undoubtedly been an amazing year for you all as a band. Any personal highlights?
Max: Getting to Number 1 with ‘All Time Low’ was pretty amazing, so was playing Wembley *all agree*

Any New Years resolutions?
Tom: To work hard and to make an album even better than our first one!

Lastly, what’s the best thing about being in The Wanted?
Jay: Nights like the X Factor, like the Jingle Bell Ball.

xx
