Number one band The Wanted have today joined Coca-Cola’s London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay nomination campaign to find the UK’s ‘Future Flames’.
Pop sensations, The Wanted, are today announced as the latest music act to support Coca-Cola’s Olympic Torch Relay public nomination campaign – Future Flames.
The top UK boy band join Dizzee Rascal, Eliza Doolittle and You Me At Six in Coca-Cola’s search for inspirational young people – Future Flames – to carry the Olympic Flame during the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay next summer.
As a Presenting Partner of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, Coca-Cola is calling on everyone across the UK to nominate the Future Flames they know: young people who use their passion in areas like sport and physical activity, music and dance, and community and the environment; to spread happiness in their local communities.
Jay McGuiness commented:
“If you know any brilliant young people that deserve a bit more recognition than they're getting, let us know, because we want you to nominate them as Future Flames! We know there's loads out there that slip under the radar, so if you have anyone in mind, don't leave it to someone else, nominate them! Go onnnn!”
It has been announced today that the wanted's second album will Be released on the 7th November, Just in time for Christmas!
Max, Siva, Nathan, Tom and Jay have have told Celebritain the next album will have a "more mature" sound. The album will feature the new NUMBER 1 single Glad You Came and the band are currently in the process of whittling down the rest of the tracklisting from the thirty tracks they have already recorded.
