Twitter went up a storm this afternoon after the #BadBoysOfLondon made their American debut with a smashing performance of Glad You Came on The Ellen Show. The boys took over the studio during their performance by singing to and greeting their star struck fans.

Seeing the smiles on the boys faces made the performance all the more enjoyable for us fans to watch at home.

After the performance, the crowd erupted into screams showing how the band are living up to their name and are very much “wanted” in America. The host, Ellen DeGeneres, then asked the boys why they are known as the “bad boys of England” to which Max replied: “I think it’s to do with we like to party and I think with America and there being so many beautiful women about, we’re going to have a great time” Sounds like you’ll be having fun then lads!

THE WANTED ON THE ELLEN SHOW!!

Late Friday night, Twitter went up a storm when it was announced that The Wanted had been asked to fly out to America to appear on The Ellen Show, which airs over there on Tuesday. Us here at The Wanted's blog are so proud and happy for the boys and wish them the best of luck!

Competition Time!

So, Celebritain (@Celebritain) are holding yet another TW comp for one lucky member of #TWFanmily to get their hands on an exclusive TW teddy bear!

Hi everyone, just thought I’d say hello and introduce myself to you all because I was lucky enough to be asked to be a new co-owner of the blog J

My name’s Rianna (@Rianna_HeartsTW) and like many of you I am a massive The Wanted fan! Below there are a few things about me J

· I discovered The Wanted very early in their career, during the school tour. I fell in love with All Time Low the first time I listened to it and it’s one of my favourite songs of all time!

· I love The Wanted because they are not afraid to be different to your typical boyband and I think they’re amazing to stay true to themselves in such a tough industry. They are 5 of the most talented and hardworking lads I’ve ever come across.

· I’ve been lucky enough to meet The Wanted a couple of times and go and see them live at every chance I get! I’m going to their first arena tour in March with my best friend, which I’m (in the words of Nathan Sykes) #buzzin for! ;)

· I can’t choose just one favourite song but I love Behind Bars and Personal Soldier from their debut album and I love Rocket, The Weekend and Lightning from Battleground

TW review information about their extended version of BATTLEGROUND!

The group have explained that they are recording extra tracks to include on a repackaged version of the album which they hope to release next year. Jay reckons that the band still have “a load of good songs” left over from their previous writing sessions and they just don’t want to waste them. One of these tracks is ‘Chasing The Sun’, a song they worked on with Example. The band have given it their seal of approval already, according to Jay, “Tom has it on his iPod and it’s now become his most played song on there! We’re hopefully going to record the track this week. It’s actually similar in some ways to ‘Glad You Came’. It won’t be out before Christmas because people don’t want to be raving when it’s p*ssing with snow.” Excellent point!

But considerate Jay is thinking about our pennies, he says they band are “conscious that we don’t rip off people because they’ll just get fed up and stop listening to us.”

So, hopefully the boys will be releasing the extended version of Battleground next year, will you be buying it?
