Here is a brand new exclusive interview the boys did with OK magazine!

Tell us about your new single Lightning...
Tom: It's about frightening lightning [jokes].
Jay: It's about kissing someone and using lightning as a metaphor to describe your nerves and excitement as you kiss them.
Max: It's about the rush

The video looks exciting, with some risky scenes! Did you have fun filming?Max: Yeah it was fun. The scenes that you are talking about, the boys took precautions [jokes].
Jay: We were safe.



Ok then, who was the naughtiest on set?
Max: I caught Nathan in his little tent on top of a girl. It was half past seven in the morning and we could just see Nathan's feet shaking.

Is this true Nathan?Nathan: [puts hands on face]

Moving on! Your new album's called Battleground, tell us what to expect...Max: There's a mixed bag, we've finished our last song on it now and there's some really upbeat songs and there's some hard hitting ones that are quite dark. 

How does it compare to your previous stuff?Max: In general it's less middle of the road pop, with darker stuff and it's a bit harsh. Siva: A Danish girl said that Lightning gave her good vibrations.

Max you're engaged, you must be excited...
I am very excited, I'm delighted!

Looking to set a date any time soon? 
Not yet no, we're going to have a bit of an engagement party soon though.




Who are you going to invite?
The rest of The Wanted boys are invited. [Turns to others] You are boys don't worry about it. We also might invite Elton John.


 Will he play any music?
Nah we'll have Nathan on the piano!

Three of you are in relationships but Jay and Nathan you guys are single. Tell us your pulling secrets.Jay:  Attractive girls come over to talk to Nathan and I just sort of make them drunk.


How are you all handling fame?Tom: Very well thanks.Jay: We've turned to drink [jokes].It's really fun and it's stressful but there's a lot of stresses that we don't have anymore so that's good.


Has it affected your relationships with people?
Max: It hasn't really changed has it?
Jay: It's harder to see people you want to see all the time but like anything, if you can make it work, you do.


Do any of you watch X Factor?All: Yes we do.


How do you think the judges compare to last year?Tom: I think Tulisa's quite good. She's proved a lot of people wrong.Nathan: Gary Barlow has stepped into Simon's role really well. 


What do you think of Cheryl Cole's departure?Nathan: I've kinda forgotten.Tom: I thought she was kinda boring anyway.Siva: I liked Cheryl. She's the nation's sweetheart isn't she.Max: You can stereotype what people have said but that doesn't make her a good judge.Siva: She was nice though, she was sincere, she was honest.


You're going on tour with Justin Bieber, are you excited?All: We can't wait.  


What do you think of him?Tom: He's really nice.Jay: He is the one of the most famous kids in the world and probably the richest kid in the world and you would think has he turned into a big head and he has not.Tom: He's not. He did come and shoot at me with some air gun thing I was like you little sh**Jay: But that kid has worked so many hours I think he deserves everything he's got.Siva: Well deserved.

Tom: And he's well talented as well.
