On The Tour:
MEGA boyband The Wanted will show record bigwigs just who’s in charge on their upcoming tour.
The five-piece kick off their first headlining dates in Manchester in March and have decided group hunk Max George, 22, will be creative director.
The lads – Max, Tom and Siva, Jay and Nathan are thrilled to have wrestled the creative reins from management.
Jay told the daily star: “The whole concept of the tour was Max’s idea and management took it from there, We love putting our own stamp on things and now can’t wait to hit the road.''
“But for now we’re keeping the theme of the show hush-hush as we don’t want to spoil the surprise for the fans.”
Tom added: “We always said we’re not your average boyband.
“We have a lot of say over how we do things and it’s great because our team respect that.”
On Capital FM Capital Rocks gala:
The daily star spoke to the boys at the 95.8 Capital FM Capital Rocks gala, which raised funds for the charity Help A London Child.
The gang put on a sterling live show singing ace new tune Lose My Mind and recent single Love Vacancy.
But it was when they performed breakthrough hit All Time Low that diners hit the dance floor.
Jay said: “We kissed the girls who were first on the floor and then everyone seemed to follow.
“Apparently we’re the first act at this event to get diners on the dance floor before dinner.”
The lads were also excited to see Queen Of The Jungle Stacey Solomon, 21, join in, Tom added: “Stacey looked amazing. I totally would.”
On One direction:
Meanwhile, the lads had a word of encouragement for X Factor band One Direction.
Max said: “I wanted One Direction to win but when it came to the final, Matt did better vocally.
“But we just know they’re going to be massive anyway. We can feel it.” Boy Power.
