THE WANTED IN GERMANY!

Ok, so I'm back again... it's Thomas! and this week I'm going to give a little insight into our trip to Germany. 

It starts with a little journey to the airport, some of us feeling more tired than others.

An early morning breakfast is always the most essential meal of the day... even if it has grease written all over it and probably contains over 5,000 calories!! 

We all love flying, but this flight was a little bit dodgy! I think the pilot must have been drunk because we were swinging all over the place, I thought at one point, it could have been the end of The Wanted... and we wouldn't want that!

 

Arrived in Germany, and we're now on the way to the Dome55. It was a really big gig for us, you can check out our performanceright here on youtube.

 

We use flares for the 1st time on stage...(something we have been wanting to do since we shot the video but until health & safety approve we cannot use them in the UK... Fingers crossed it will happen soon) and if I may say so myself they looked amazing. Although I was a little bit wary because I've burnt my nipple on some sparkling things before hehe! 

 

The performance concluded, and the reaction was sensational. We couldn't have imagined that the German crowd would have reacted like that. We then went side of stage for an interview, with all of 10,000 people watching and listening to our attempts at their German language! The interviewer decided to hit me in the tooth with the microphone, which caused a huge echo around the whole arena, and a large gasp!! It made my lip twitch severely Lol but we were on too much of a high to care! 

 

Then, to the sheer anger of the security guards, we decided to jump off the stage and into the crowd. They were screaming something at us in German, probably some swear words to get back on stage but we all just ignored them lol! Rock 'n' Roll! 

Afterwards, we all went off to the after party for a few drinks, but I'm not going to go in to the things we got up to... simply because I can't remember! All I do remember is that we stumbled in to the hotel at 8.30am and got up at 9.30am to fly back to the UK... messy times!! Lol 

So that concludes this weeks mailer. In conclusion, UK = AWESOME and GERMANY = AWESOME :)
