Parker 'Surprised JLS have no Brit nomination... . ♥

 Tom Parker has expressed his surprise at the lack of nominations for JLS at this year's BRITs.

The Wanted are up for 'Best Single' for 'All Time Low', which is precisely one more nod than JLS have received.

Parker told the Daily Star, "I was really surprised they didn't get anything.  But they've handed the baton to us and we're doing it for the boybands.  They should have a best boyband category but mind you, Take That would clear up in that."

Parker also revealed his excitement about going to the awards ceremony, saying, "I want to wear a purple suit with a pink tie.  But the other boys are not so keen, so maybe it'll be a white suit."

The BRITs take place at London's O2 arena on February 15th.

Gold Forever for Comic Relief. ♥

So, the wanted amazing new single Gold Forever is Comic relief's official song!

Comic Relief is coming up and The Wanted are doing their bit to raise pots of cash for charity by singing the Comic Relief official single.

Jay, Max, Nathan, Siva and Tom are releasing their track Gold Forever as the official Red Nose Day song, says Max, “This song is about a day in your life that you never forget.  It’s an upbeat, feel good track and our favourite so far.  We’re really excited to get it out there, and delighted that it is supporting such a great cause.”

The Wanted follow in the footsteps of acts like Spice Girls, McFly, Girls Aloud and Sugababes, and seem pretty darn excited about getting involved with such a good cause, with Jay explaining, “We’re in a position where we can contribute to Comic Relief.  We grew up watching it as kids and to be involved is crazy but an absolute honour.  We hope we do everyone proud.”

Gold Forver will be available for digital download on Sunday 13 March and to buy in the shops the day after. The boys will also of course appear on Comic Relief to sing the track, The Wanted are set to perform on Comic Relief: Funny For Money which kicks off at 7pm, BBC1 on Friday 18 March.

Money raised will go to help needy people in the UK and Africa. SO GET BUYING.

So album number one is over and done with and there’s a brand new single from The Wanted on the way.

According to Capital FM  it’s called Gold Forever, and is being premiered tomorrow on their station at 8:15AM. The single will then be released on March 13th!

Keegan: We're just a normal couple. ♥

Michelle Keegan has insisted she and boyfriend Max George are just a "normal couple".

The Coronation Street beauty has been dating the hunky popstar from The Wanted for several months, but insists they just like relaxing together in tracksuits in front of the TV.

Michelle told More magazine: "We're just a normal couple who hang out in trackies, cooking and watching DVDs."

The 23-year-old actress won't be spending Valentine's Day with her new man as she's filming Corrie and he'll be touring with The Wanted, but she revealed Max, 22, will have to be thoughtful and romantic to impress her.

She said: "For me actions speak louder than words, so it's more about something he's thought about, rather than whisking me off to a posh place."

Michelle gushed: "I've never been so happy. He's amazing.

"It's early days but it's going so well. We laugh constantly and he makes me very happy. We're trying to see as much of each other as possible before Max goes away touring for most of February."

But she added: "I won't say he's The One, as he might run a mile! But we've met each other's families and it's going great."

''Stayboy Nathan'' to support the wanted.... ♥

There’s a few things we do know, and a lot of things we want to know about The Wanted’s tour, and we’re not just talking about whether or not Jay will gets his nipples out. That’s a a given. The setlist, the support acts, the pop star barnets. Let’s find out shall we… in the continuation of our much-loved ‘everything you need to know about…’ series.

Gimme the basics:

The tour starts March 28th in Manchester’s O2 Apollo and ends April 15th in Edinburgh’s Playhouse. In total, there’s 15 dates, 3 of which were added due to demand for tickets. That means the boys will have just 4 nights off to hang out with Jay’s pet lizard neytiri and pop down to the park for a game of ‘sniff my bum’.

What’s the setlist?

It’s far too early to say – we’re not off to a good start are we? We’ll update this when we know, but you can expect to hear the singles, the rest of the album and at least a few covers. Is it just us hoping for a medley of Britney Spears’ greatest hits? In bad news, Tom will probably get the acoustic guitar out at some point. And sadly, we’re not being crude.

Who’s supporting them?

UPDATE: You were hoping for Parade. You were hoping for GMD3. We were hoping for Ed Drewett. Instead we get… “Starboy Nathan”....WHO also supported JLS, who’s confirmed on his Twitter that he’s supporting the band. No, us neither. But don’t worry, chances are there’ll be another support act announced soon who might be slightly better and more attractive…

Will there be merchandise?

Yes. Do we know what it is? No. But expect to see overpriced t-shirts and programmes and a lot less cash in your wallet by the time the show’s over.

What’s the theme?

By the sounds of things it’s going to be pretty lowkey, Max told The Sun that the show would “have a Vegas theme in parts”. “There will be loads of different costumes. But there will be no gimmicks or sexy dancers.” He’s also promised something we hoped for from the start – a live band. So no silly up and down dancing then? There’s also been discussion about elements of Parkour (street running) being used in the show. The whole thing sounds like a bizarre mix of high-camp Vegas glamour and urban grit. Let’s see…

Is it sold out?

Nope – you can still get tickets here.

Are there VIP tickets?

Yes. But they sold out....

Who’s directing it…

Also know as ‘the boss’. Again, we don’t know.

And what about a tour DVD?

Do you mean 12 minutes of (manager) Jayne Collins sticking a Flipcam here there and everywhere on #WantedWednesday isn’t enough for you? Again, we don’t know. But we’ll let you know when we do.

Awww Siva reveals to OK! that he's a real romantic ♥

LET'S face it we've already dreamed of what it would be like to be Siva from The Wanted's girlfriend.

But we're even MORE jealous of The Wanted star Siva's girlfriend after he exclusively told us just how romantic he really is.

Speaking to OK.co.uk the Irish hottie told us that he is always finding ways to make things special for Nareesha.

He said: "I'm very romantic. I take good care of her. I take her out to dinner lots (by candlelight) and do little things."

And the 22-year-old made us laugh when he referred to Jay's recent prank on his candle.

He told us: "I'm a candle kind of guy. I like to chill out. I don't mind saying that I like candles. I've got the missus and gotta to bend to her needs sometimes."

Irish fittie Siva said that he and his girl have to work extra hard to make things work because they are apart so much of the time.

He said: "In the beginning it took a lot to deal with [the distance] but after a while you get into a routine and when you are together you make it special. You appreciate each other more."

And because of the band's commitments it looks like Siva will be spending Valentine's with Max, Nathan, Tom and Jay instead.

He told us: "I'll be away for Valentines with the boys. We'll probably end up doing pranks. I'll make it up to my girlfriend after."

WHO wants to play nurse ladies, because The Wanted star Siva has a poorly voice!

Speaking exclusively to OK.co.uk today Siva from The Wanted told OK he's got infected vocal chords and is really worried about his voice for the coming tour. 

He said: "I've got a really sore voice. It's infected vocal chords. I'm quite worried about it."

The hot 22-year-old, who is set to tour the UK with Max, Tom, Jay and Nathan in March, says the infection is really affecting his singing.

He added: "We had to sing loads of songs while we were in Germany [for a promo tour] but I could only do a low harmony."

And the Irish fittie, who will film The Graham Norton Show tonight before jetting back to Germany tomorrow for a two-week promo tour, said he is really worried it won't heal in time for when they take to the stage here next month.

He said: "I'm so excited about the tour but more worried that my voice won't heal. I have an old man's voice at the moment.

"It's hard trying to find time for it to heal. Sleep is really important and I'm not getting enough."

Asked whether he has been to the doctor, the Irish model-turned singer told us: "All the lads go to doctors for things but when its not serious I won't go. I'm just taking cough medicine and cough syrup."

The Wanted boys are up for Best British Single at the Brit Awards 2011 this month. So do the lads think they have a realistic chance of taking home the award?

Siva told us: "It's amazing we're nominated, what a privilege. But then I looked at the people also nominated! But i'm thinking we could get it. We have very loyal fans who are giving us confidence."

The Wanted WANT Vegas! ♥

THE WANTED are planning a tear-up in Las Vegas in preparation for their first ever UK tour.

The lads kick off their 15-date road trip in Manchester at the end of March.

And skinhead MAX GEORGE has revealed the magic and glamour of Las Vegas will form a prominent part of the show.

He said: "It would be great to get some Vegas bonding time. The show will have a Vegas theme in parts.

"There will be loads of different costumes.

"But there will be no gimmicks or sexy dancers.

"It will just be us on stage apart from a live band.

He continued: "A trip to Las Vegas is a great shout.

"It's very important we get a feel for it", Max cheekily added

"TOM, SIVA and I will be the only ones able to drink but that's ok.

"It will be like our own version of The Hangover."

Poor old NATHAN and JAY.

Max, who is dating Corrie actress MICHELLE KEEGAN, also said the lads have discussed the possibility of incorporating free-running or Parkour into the show. 

He said: "We've had lots of discussions. Parkour is another idea."

A promotional trip to the US has now been put on the back-burner so the band can focus on gruelling tour rehearsals.

Max told me: "We're going to South-East Asia and Germany for the whole of February but then we need to come back and focus on the show and our new single.

"We don't want to be away for the UK for too long.

"We love our UK fans and want to continue to step things up here.

"It is the most important thing for all of us."

The Wanted start there German tour.... ♥

THE Wanted boys all have seriously fit bodies (we know, we've Googled "The Wanted topless"), but it looks like they were having a break from the health regime yesterday as they tucked into a pub lunch.

The poor boys from The Wanted have worked themselves hard rehearsing for their month-long tour, but they took a day off yesterday in Dublin before jetting to Germany this morning.

And while it looks like Max George enjoyed a healthy soup lunch and Jay McGuiness went for the veggie option, Tom Parker decided to ditch the diet and ordered a kebab and chips.

The yummy singer looked happy with his decision as he chowed down outside the Dylan Hotel in Ireland.

Max, Jay, Tom, Nathan and Siva headed to Munich early this morning to promote their upcoming tour.

The guys hit the road in Germany in a pimped-up tour bus branded with their very own faces.
